3) Lost your password?
If you lost your administration password you will have to reset your camera to the facto-
ry defaults. Please press the reset button at the back panel of the camera for at least 15s!
The camera needs to be connected to the power. After the reset all passwords are set to
their default values:

4). How does port forwarding work?
As shown in below illustration map, the router's internal IP is 192.168.0.1. The cam-
era gets an internal IP address from the router. Camera 1: 192.168.0.51 and Camera
2: 192.168.0.86. The router has a WAN IP given by the Internet Service Provider(ISP),
in this case: 173.12.196.18 as an example. This router's WAN IP address changes every
24 hours by the ISP. So if you type in your internet browser: 173.12.196.18 today, you
can visit your router but tomorrow it will be another address. That's why we use a fixed
DDNS address and the DDNS server always is linked to the newest WAN IP of the
router.
Your network is protected with ports. Each network device has a WAN and LAN ports in
the router, serving like a firewall. You need to make this wall accessible for this network
device if you want to visit it from outside your network. To do that, you need to make
port fowarding (also called port mapping or NAT), by giving each camera a WAN port
and a LAN port.
