9. Setting up / Installing the device mixer
The mixer is suitable as a table device or for desk installation.
Ensure sufficient ventilation when setting up or for desk installation. Do not place the
appliance on soft surfaces, such as carpets or beds. Furthermore, the air circulation may
not be obstructed by objects such as magazines, table cloths or curtains. This prevents
heat from being dissipated from the appliance and can result in overheating (risk of fire!).
If the appliance is installed on a desk, an additional fan may be necessary to dissipate the
heat generated on the desk.
Do not drill any holes or screw any screws into the housing for fastening the unit. This
could damage the unit and adversely affect safety.
Make sure the appliance is in a stable position on a stable surface. The appliance can
injure persons by falling down or overturning.
Make sure the connection cable is not squeezed or damaged by sharp edges.
Always lay the cables so that no one can trip over or become entangled in them. There is
risk of injury!
When selecting a place to set up the device, make sure that direct, intense sunlight,
vibration, dust, heat, cold and moisture are avoided.
High levels of humidity can lead to a reduction in the insulation of the unit. Only operate
the device in a dry environment. Therefore keep at a sufficient distance from any mist-
forming machines or soap bubble machines which may be in use.
No other appliances with strong electric or magnetic fields, such as transformers, motors,
radio telephones, radios or computers, may be located in the vicinity of the product as
these could affect it. Keep it a sufficient distance away from such appliances.
Due to the large variety of paints and polishes used for furniture, it cannot be ruled out that the
feet of the appliance may leave visible marks on the furniture. The appliance should therefore
not be placed on the surfaces of valuable furniture without any appropriate protection.
Table top use:
Put the mixer on a level and flat area.
Desk top use:
The 4 fastening holes in the upper covering plate serve as a means of fastening when mounting on a desk.
Use sufficiently dimensioned screws for fastening.
