10. Operation

10.1. Basic functions

Switching on/off
 Press the POWER button to switch the radio on. The radio will also switch on as
soon as a data medium (CD/USB/CARD) has been inserted.
 Press the POWER button for approx. 0.5 seconds to switch the radio off.
Dial/button - Set the volume and sound
You can use the multifunctional dial/button to call up the volume and other sound
settings.

Display
Set the volume
Set the bass
Set the treble distribution
Regulate right/left volume distribution
Set the volume distribution between front (F)/
rear (R)
Turn beep on (ON) or off (OFF) when buttons
pressed
Use the dial to select between the audio settings
FLAT (normal), CLASSIC, ROCK and POP
Switch the loudness function on (ON) to increase
bass and treble or off (OFF)
ON: Only the strongest stations are received
when searching
OFF: Normal reception, weaker stations are also
recognised
In FM band select stereo or mono mode (MONO).
The MONO setting can improve the reception if
stereo reception is poor
Switch the alternative frequencies mode on or off.
When this function has been switched on, the ra-
dio always searches for the optimal radio frequen-
cy for the currently set station
("Traffic Announcement"): Call up traffic an-
nouncements automatically
