h) Selecting display of the absolute/relative barometric pressure

The absolute barometric pressure is the actually measured barometric pressure. This depends
on the altitude of your place of residence and thus the site of setup of the weather station.
The relative barometric pressure is the barometric pressure converted to sea level, to receive
comparable values. The data you will receive, e.g., online, are always indicated like this.
To switch between absolute and relative barometric pressures, proceed as follows:
If the lower left of the display shows the rain volume ("RAINFALL"), briefly push the button " "
(5), so that the barometric pressure is displayed ("BARO").
• Keep the button " " (5) pushed for 2 seconds. Above the barometric pressure display, "ABSOLUTE" or
"RELATIVE" will flash.
• Use the button " " (11) or " " (12) to switch between the different displays:
"ABSOLUTE" Absolute barometric pressure (actually measured barometric pressure)
"RELATIVE" Relative barometric pressure (barometric pressure converted to sea level)
• Briefly push the button " " (5) to leave setting mode.

i) Setting the relative barometric pressure

For the weather station to determine and display the relative barometric pressure based on the actually
measured barometric pressure (absolute barometric pressure), it needs to know the valid relative baromet-
ric pressure at your place of residence.
You can get this barometric pressure value, e.g., online (e.g. on various weather forecast websites).
Usually, it is sufficient to set the barometric pressure for the next larger city, since usually there
are not any larger deviations within an area of 50 km.
Proceed as follows:
If the lower left of the display shows the rain volume ("RAINFALL"), briefly push the button " "
(5), so that the barometric pressure is displayed ("BARO").
• Keep the button " " (5) pushed for 2 seconds. Above the barometric pressure display, "ABSOLUTE" or
"RELATIVE" will flash.
• Use the button " " (11) or " " (12) to select the relative barometric pressure (display "RELATIVE").
• Briefly push the button " " (5); the display of the barometric pressure will start to flash.
• Use the button " " (11) or " " (12) to set the relative barometric pressure (for quick adjustment, keep
the respective button pushed).
• Briefly push the button " " (5) to leave setting mode.
When the barometric pressure is changed, the symbols for the weather forecast may change as
well.
For this reason, do not observe the weather forecast in the display of the weather station for at
least 24 hours after setting the relative barometric pressures.
