d) Weather forecast
The product includes a sensitive pressure sensor and software to calculate a weather forecast for the next 12 - 24
hours. The forecast is valid for a radius of 30 - 50 km.
The weather forecast is shown using different symbols.
Sunny / Clear Slightly Cloudy
The accuracy of a pressure-based weather forecast is approx. 70 - 75 %.
The weather forecast refers to the next 12 hours. Therefore, it is possible that the forecast does not match
the current conditions.
The weather icon will flash on display when the rainstorm comes.
The "Snowy" weather forecast is based not on the air pressure, but on the outdoor temperature. If the
outdoor temperature is below -3 °C (26 °F), the "Snowy" icon appears on the display.

In normal display mode, press the BARO button to toggle between ABS and REL:
- ABS: the absolute air pressure of your location.
- REL: the relative air pressure based on the sea level.
Select measurement unit & set relative atmospheric pressure
1. Press and hold the BARO button for 2 seconds.
2. Use the or buttons to change the unit between inHg / mmHg / hPa.
3. Press the BARO button again to set the relative pressure value.
4. Press the or buttons to change the value.
5. Press the BARO button to save.
The factory default value for the relative air pressure is 1013 hPa (29.91 inHg). This value corresponds to
the average atmosphere pressure.
Altering the value may affect the weather forecast.
The relative air pressure is based on the sea level, but it will change with the absolute air pressure changes
after 1 hour of operation.
