Operation - EuroLite SUPERSTAR Bedienungsanleitung

You can install the device at any desired place. Please make sure that the device is not exposed to extreme
heat, moisture or dust. There should not be any cables lying around. You endanger your own and the safety
of others!
Operate the device only after having familiarized with its functions. Do not allow an operation by persons who
do not know the device well enough. Most damages are the result of an unprofessional operation!
Please consider that for safety reasons unauthorized modifications to the device are forbidden!
INSTALLATION OF THE LAMPS
To install the lamps (2 x 220 V/300 W G-6,35 and R-7-s 500 W pole burner) open the service lid. During the
installation do not touch the glass-bulbs bare-handed! Please follow the lamp manufacturer's notes!
Do not install lamps with a higher wattage! Lamps with a higher wattage generate temperatures the device
was not designed for. Damages caused by non-observance are not subject to warranty.
Close the lid and make sure that the venting slots are not blocked.
Do not operate this device with opened service lid!
INSTALLATION
When choosing the device's installation place, please make sure that the venting slots are not covered by
other devices or decoration material.
Make sure that the cooling fan runs freely.
Connect the Superstar to the controler with the enclosed cable. If the cable is not long enough, it can be
lengthened without any problem.
In order to synchronize several Superstars, use the five pin plug (labeled "to next unit").
Mount the projector with the mounting bracket to your trussing system. For safety reasons use an additional
safety rope.
This device falls under protection class I. Therefore it is essential that the yellow/green conductor gets
connected to earth.The electric connection must be carried out by a qualified employee.

OPERATION

After you connected the effect to the mains, the SUPERSTAR starts running. As the SUPERSTAR features a
built-in microphone providing automatic sound control. You can adjust the sensitivity with the trim control on
the rear panel.
If you wish to run the SUPERSTAR without controller, you can select the desired effect via the effect selector
on the rear panel.
In order to use the Superstar with the controler, turn the switch on the rear panel to „OFF".
