8. At night the temperature can be reduced a little bit, if desired.
How far first of all depends on the insulation of the building be-
cause with good insulation the temperature mostly does not sink
more than 1°C. In any case, please ensure that the rooms do not
cool down too much, then the DIRECTTECH heating panels have
to restart to warm up the matter. This does spend more energy
as if you just leave the DIRECTTECH heating panels "clocking" in
their balanced surrounding.
9. IMPORTANT: The capacity which is sufficient to warm up the
rooms essentially had been calculated in advance. It is not
advisable to use a small number of DIRECTTECH heating panels
or single DIRECTTECH heating panels with the intention to save
energy. This is getting rather more expensive for you in consump-
tion because then the active DIRECTTECH heating panels must
work for "all the others" to warm up the material. This cannot
lead to the desired goal.
This effect also arises when you bought single DIRECTTECH hea-
ting panels to try them out. A total balance in the room will not
appear by undersizing. Please let us or one of our trading part-
ners prepare a demand calculation for you. This is essential to be
considered during the actual heating period!
During the transitional period or cool evenings as in the spring
and autumn, you of course profit from the targeted, temporary
direct radiation. Even in outdoor areas the DIRECTTECH heating
panels can be used when sheltered from rain. However, the
power consumption then cannot be taken as representative
in comparison to the "normal heating" because in general, the
heating is not suitable for such fields of application anyway, local
and temporary.
10. All materials such as the normal brickwork, brick and wooden
are optimally adapted for absorbing the long-waving radiation
into the surface and reflecting it. Through the dehydration of
the material, an additional storage effect arises. Glazed tiles and
glass, plasterboard and wood have the best reflection attribu-
tes due to their ability to reflect the falling-in radiant heat like
a mirror. Logically, it speaks for itself to install the DIRECTTECH
heating panels opposite to the outside wall with its windows or
on the ceiling (the "good old tiled stove" also radiated "outwards"
from the core of the building). Though, it is also possible to install
the DIRECTTECH heating panels on the outside wall because they
have an unique qualitative high-valued back insulation.
11. Please always remember that the house is the third skin of the
human. First, humans have their own skin, then the clothes
they wear and then the ambient material. Whenever you want
it warm, it should be dry (you know: a wet pullover makes you
cold). By the way, the sensors which feel the heat and cooling are
stationed at our skin. Try it out: the more you expose your skin to
the radiant heat, the more intensive you will feel it.
12. Due to the uniform distribution of the radiant heat in the room
and the minimal temperature differences between ceiling and
floor, the swirling of dust drastically minimizes. This is noticeable
because the dust deposits on the ground, not swirling around
any longer. House dust is fine dust. After the installation of
the Direkt-Erwärmungs-Technologie D.E.T.® you will notice this
quickly because your furniture is covered with dust. Is the dust
removed a couple of times, you will realize that you neither have
to clean the dust as much as before, nor to renovate as much. This
is a big profit for all of us, especially for asthmatic patients and
