6. Explanation of warning signs
Read the operating instructions before use
Warning: Risk of crushing between machine and material
Wear ear protection
Wear safety goggles
7. Use
Rotating compressed air device with drill chuck driven by a compressed air motor. Drill bits are fixed in the drill chuck
by means of Allan screws. Appropriate for drilling of metal, wood and other materials.
8. Weight:
about 2.5kg
Maintenance and care (lubricating instructions for air motor)
•
The user is responsible for lubricating the device. If the recommended lubrication intervals are not observed,
the service life of the device might be considerably reduced. Damages due to improper lubrication will result in
rejecting any warranty claims.
This device must be lubricated before its first use as well as before and after each use.
•
This device must be lubricated during its whole service life. Lubricate at two separate positions:
At the air motor and at the depth adjustment gauge. To do so, observe the following instructions:
•
The compressed air motor must be lubricated every day.
The air motor cannot be lubricated too often.
Disconnect the compressed air supply before lubrication
•
Disconnect the device from the compressed air supply
•
Turn the device upside down
•
Press the tripping device when filling about 5 ml of oil into the compressed air inlet.
After having lubricated the compressed air device the lubricant will escape from the sound absorber during
the first few seconds. Therefore, it is necessary to cover the sound absorber with a cloth, if compressed air is
supplied to the device. If the sound absorber is not covered it may result in injuries.
•
Connect the device to the compressed air supply and cover the sound absorber with a cloth. Let the device run
for 20 to 30 seconds. Lubricant will escape from the sound absorber during this process.

Technical data:
*Drill adapter
*Compressed air
*Air connection 1/4"internal thread
Possible cause
1. Dirt in the device
2. No lubricant in
the device
3. Too little compressed air
4. Compressed air hose
damaged
5. Pressure drop
6. Ball bearing soiled
or damaged
1. Water in the vessel
2. Water in the lines,
hoses
8 mm
6.3bar
Solution
1. Rinse the device with special air oil
(item No: 5354 100), solvent
or a comparable mixture of SAE 10
motor oil and diesel fuel. Lubricate the device
after cleaning.
2. Lubricate the device according
to the description incl. in these instructions.
3. Adjust the compressed air of the compressor.
4. Repair leakages.
5. Control the diameter and length of the
air hose. Hoses which are too large or too long
have a too high air volume which might cause
a pressure drop. A hose of an inner diameter
of 8 mm is perfect.
6. Disassemble the bearing, clean or replace it
1. Drain vessel (follow the instructions
of the compressor). Start the device until
no more water is escaping. Lubricate the device
according to the lubricating instructions
2. Install a compressed air maintenance unit.
Note: The filter only works, if compressed air is cold
Place the filter as far as possible
from the compressor.
2.1 Install an air dryer
