Welding spot drill Fastdrill
Regulation of the drilling depth
Turn the black adjusting ring until the flanks of the drill are positioned at the same height as the calibration lines
marked by the laser (pict. 1).
- This results in a drilling depth of 0.8mm.
If a deeper drilling depth is required, turn the black adjustment ring to the right in order that the flanks of the drill bit
are positioned above the calibration lines (pict. 2).
- This results in a drilling depth of >0.8mm.
If a smaller drilling depth is required, turn the black adjustment ring to the left in order that the flanks of the drill bit
are positioned below the calibration lines (pict. 3).
- This results in a drilling depth of <0.8mm.
Step 1: Turn the adjusting screw clockwise to the stop (pict. 4).
Step 2: Slightly press the rear lever (pict. 5) until the drill bit contacts the surface (pict. 6).
Step 3: Keep the rear lever pressed (drill bit sits close) and turn the adjustment screw anti-clockwise at the same time
(pict. 7), until the drill bit starts turning. In this way the fast drill is perfectly set.
ATTENTION! As soon as the total sheet thickness changes, it is necessary to repeat step 1 to 3.
