terial nozzle damaged.
Spray medium flow
pressure not constant.
Atomization pressure is
too high.
Material too thin or
insufficient.
Too much material.
Material thickness set
too high.
Atomization pressure is
too low.
Corrective action
Retighten pre-nozzle.
Replace air distribution
ring (see Chap. 10.3).
Tighten air nozzle ring
hand tight.
Clean intermediate
space.
Clean pre-nozzle and
material nozzle. Pay
attention to alignment
of groove to locating
pin.
Replace pre-nozzle
and material nozzle
(see Chap. 10.1). Pay
attention to alignment
of groove to locating
pin.
Correct spray medium
flow pressure.
Clean material filter
(see Chap. 11) or re-
place (see Chap. 10.8).
Reduce atomization
pressure.
