■ Press air distribution ring in evenly.
■ Carry out work steps „Attaching the new pre-nozzle, carbide nee-
dle tip and paint needle" and „Attaching a new material nozzle" (see
Chap. 10.1).
10.4. Replacing the trigger
Removing the trigger
■ Pull off safety ring [11-5].
■ Pull out bracket bolt [11-3].
■ Remove trigger [11-4].
■ Remove spring washer [11-1] and plastic washer [11-2].
Attaching a new trigger
■ Insert trigger [11-4], sliding spring washer [11-1] and plastic washer
[11-2] between gun body and trigger.
■ Insert bracket bolt [11-3] through trigger, washers and gun body.
■ Insert safety ring [11-5].
10.5. Replacing the paint needle packing
Remove paint needle seal retainer
■ Carry out work steps „Removing the material nozzle" and „Removing
the pre-nozzle, carbide needle tip and paint needle" (see Chap. 10.1).
■ Unscrew and remove paint needle seal retainer [12-1] using SATA uni-
versal wrench [12-3] and socket wrench (7 mm) [12-2].
■ Check paint needle seal retainer for damage and contamination and
clean or replace as required.
Install new paint needle seal retainer
■ Secure new paint needle seal retainer [12-1] with Loctite 242 and screw
on using SATA universal wrench [12-3] and socket wrench (7 mm)
[12-2].
■ Carry out work steps „Attaching the new pre-nozzle, carbide nee-
dle tip and paint needle" and „Attaching a new material nozzle" (see
Chap. 10.1).

tainer
Removing the air micrometer, air piston and seal retainer
■ Carry out work steps „Removing the material nozzle" and „Removing
the pre-nozzle, carbide needle tip and paint needle" (see Chap. 10.1).
