US
■ Pull off control knob [16-2].
■ Unscrew and remove spindle [16-3] using SATA universal wrench (12
mm).
Install new spindle
■ Position new spindle [16-3] and screw in using SATA universal wrench
(12 mm).
■ Position control knob [16-2].
■ Secure countersunk screw [16-1] with Loctite 242 and screw in until
hand-tight using SATA combination tool.
10.8. Replacing the material strainer
Danger!
Risk of injury from sudden component separation or escaping
material.
Operating the paint spray gun without the material strainer weakens the
sealing performance.
→ Only operate the paint spray gun when the material strainer is in-
stalled.
Removing the material strainer
■ Unscrew and remove material filter housing [17-2] using SATA universal
wrench (19 mm). Use an open-end wrench (14 mm) to hold threaded
part [17-1] in place.
■ Remove material strainer [17-1].
Installing the new material strainer
■ Insert material strainer [17-1] into material filter housing [17-2].
■ Screw on material filter housing and tighten until hand-tight using SATA
universal wrench (19 mm). Use an open-end wrench (14 mm) to hold
threaded part [17-1] in place.
10.9. Replacing the hanging system
A pre-attached suspension hook serves as the hanging system. If neces-
sary, it can be replaced with the supplied eye bolt.
Removing the hanging system
■ Screw off countersunk screw [18-1] using SATA combination tool.
■ Remove suspension hook [18-2].
Attaching a new hanging system
■ Position eye bolt [18-3].
