■ Carry out the working steps „Fit a new pre-nozzle, hard metal ball
tip and paint needle" and „Mount a new material nozzle" (see chap-
ter 10.1).
10.3. Replacing the air distribution ring
Replacing the air distribution ring must be preceded and followed by the
steps required for replacing the nozzle parts (see chapter 10.1).
Dismantle the air distribution ring
Attention!
Damage from using the wrong tool
The air distribution ring is fitted firmly in the nozzle head, which can be
damaged if excessive force is used. Injuries can be caused if the SATA
extraction tool slips during use.
→ Wear protective gloves.
→ Always use the SATA extraction tool pointing away from your body.
→ Pull the air distribution ring evenly out of the nozzle head.
■ Carry out the working steps „Dismantle material nozzle" and „Remove
the pre-nozzle, hard metal ball tip and paint needle" (see chapter 10.1).
■ Remove the air distribution ring using the SATA extraction tool [10-1].
■ Check sealing surfaces of the nozzle head [10-2] for damage and soil-
ing, clean or replace nozzle head assembly if necessary.
Fit new air distribution ring
■ Insert the new air distribution ring in the nozzle head. The pin on the
bottom of the air distribution ring must be aligned accordingly [10-3].
■ Press the air distribution ring in evenly.
■ Carry out the working steps „Fit a new pre-nozzle, hard metal ball
tip and paint needle" and „Mount a new material nozzle" (see chap-
ter 10.1).
10.4. Replace trigger guard
Remove trigger guard
■ Pull the circlip off [11-5].
■ Pull the trigger bolt out [11-3].
■ Remove the trigger guard [11-4].
■ Remove the spring washer [11-1] and plastic washer [11-2].
Mount a new trigger guard
■ Insert the trigger guard [11-4], at the same time insert the spring wash-
er [11-1] and plastic washer [11-2] between the gun body and trigger
