Up key
"Up" setting key. If you press this key longer than 1 sec., the value that has to be
set goes up continuously until the key is released.

On/Off & Confirm key
Key for switching the device on/off. During operation, the display can be illumina-
ted by pressing the key briefly. Furthermore, the key serves as confirming key for
the different setting procedures.

PMR / Radio Commutator
Key for the commutation between PMR (walkie-talkie) and radio mode.

Down key
"Down" setting key. If you press this key longer than 1 sec., the value that has to
be set goes down continuously until the key is released.
(10) Microphone
Talk into the built-in microphone with normal volume and at a distance of approx.
5 to 10 cm.

Belt clip to attach the device to the belt
(13) Battery Compartment Cover
Behind this cover there is the battery compartment.
(14) Battery Compartment Lock
The lock serves to secure the battery compartment cover.
(15) Charging Contacts
Via these contacts, the device is connected to the battery charger (not in the sco-
pe of delivery). Only use the battery charger that is especially available for this
device.
(A) PMR Symbol
The PMR symbol appears when the device is in PMR mode.
(B) Keyboard Lock Symbol
Keyboard lock is activated.
(C) Battery Symbol
Indication of the battery status; with full battery, the symbol is
filled and with empty battery, the symbol is empty as well.
