Cela signifie que vous pouvez recevoir toutes les
personnes qui émettent sur le canal émetteur que vous
avez choisi, même si celles-ci ont réglé un code CTCSS.
Par contre, aucun de ceux ayant installé un code CTCSS
ne peut vous recevoir. Afin de permettre une communication,
tous les appareils participant à l'entretien doivent être réglés
sur le même code CTCSS et sur le même canal d'émission.
Confirmez votre choix en appuyant la touche marche/arrêt
& confirmation (7), l'appareil repasse à l'affichage de base.
Régler le volume
Appuyez trois fois sur la touche réglage vers le haut (6).
Appuyez .sur la touche marche/arrêt & confirmation (7)
pour confirmer votre choix.
Appuyez sur la touche réglage vers le haut (6) ou sur la touche
réglage vers le bas (9) pour régler le volume. Appuyez sur la
touche marche/arrêt & confirmation (7) pour confirmer le
volume choisi.
Régler le squelch (filtre de suppression des bruits de fond)
Appuyez quatre fois sur la touche réglage vers le haut (6).
Appuyez sur la touche marche/arrêt & confirmation (7)
pour confirmer votre choix.
Appuyez sur la touche réglage vers le haut (6) ou sur la touche
réglage vers le bas (9) pour régler le squelch (filtre de suppres-
sion des bruits de fond) désiré. Appuyez sur la touche marche/
arrêt & confirmation (7) pour confirmer la valeur choisie.
Régler la fonction VOX
Votre appareil est équipé d'une fonction VOX (commande vocale). C'est une fonc-
tion automatique qui vous permet de vous servir de votre émetteur sans utiliser
vos mains. Parlez simplement dans le microphone et l'appareil se met automa-
tiquement à émettre. La sensibilité VOX est réglable.

Further Setting Functions
Setting the Background Illumination
Press the Up key (6) nine times, if the device is in PMR mode
or four times, if it is in radio mode.
Press the On/Off & Confirm key (7) to confirm the entry.
Press the Up key (6) or Down key (9) to adjust the
desired background illumination.
C0 = green background illumination
C1 = red background illumination
C2 = red/green background illumination
Press the On/Off & Confirm key (7) to confirm the adjusted value.
The background illumination lights for 15 seconds and then goes out. It is not
possible to set different background illumination colours for radio mode and for
PMR mode! The background illumination lights as soon as a key of the device is
pressed.
Activating/Deactivating the Key Lock
Press and hold the On/Off & Confirm key (7), then press the Up key (6) simul-
taneously. A key symbol appears on the display. In this function, all keys except
the PTT key (4) are locked.
To deactivate the key lock press and hold the On/Off & Confirm key (7) and
then press the Up key (6).
The key symbol disappears.
Cleaning, Maintenance & Disposal
Regularly check the technical safety of the device regarding e.g. damages of the
housing.
If there is reason to believe that safe operation has become impossible, put the
product out of operation and secure it against any unintended operation. Remove
the batteries!
