Repairs must only be carried out by GARDENA service departments or specialist
dealers authorised by GARDENA.

Blades can cause injury.
v For maintenance work, slide on the blade protection and
do not push the safety lock forward.
There is a risk of personal injury and damage to the Shears
if you clean them under running water (especially under high
pressure).
v Never clean your Shears under running water.
To increase operating time, the Accu Shears should be cleaned
and sprayed after each use.
1. Clean your Accu Shears with a damp cloth.
2. Spray shear blade with GARDENA Cleaning Spray Art. 2366.
Blades can cause serious injury.
v When troubleshooting, slide on blade protection and do
not push the safety lock of the Accu Shears forward.
If the Accu Shears do not cut cleanly even after thorough
cleaning, the cutting blades are defective and must be
replaced with new ones (see 5. Operation "Change blade set").
Please only use original GARDENA Accu Shears Cutting
Blades.
Possible Cause
A fault has occurred during
charging.
The motor is overloaded
through a blockage of the
blades and switches off.
Cam of the Accu Shears does
not engage with the Shrub

Blade connecting link .
Remedy
v Unplug and reinsert
charging cable.
The fault will be reset.
v Remove blockage.
Start Accu Shears anew.
The fault is remedied.
u
v Pull connecting link
down and place Shrub
Blade on anew.
