Safety lock (child safety lock)

If the safety lock is activated, the lock symbol
(15) lights up on the display. All buttons and
the rotary switch are non-operational.
The safety lock can also be activated
during operation.
Activating/deactivating the safety
lock
• To activate and deactivate the safety lock,
press and hold the buttons
(17) simultaneously for approx. 3 sec-
onds.
A beep will sound and the lock symbol
(15) appears on or disappears from the
display, respectively.

Oven lighting

Use the oven light solely for oven light-
ing; it is not suitable for room lighting.
The oven lighting switches on automatically
when the built-in oven is in operation.
To switch on the oven lighting (e.g. for clean-
ing):
• Select the light symbol

• Press the button (16).
• To switch off the oven lighting, press the
button (17) twice.

Energy-saving mode

If the energy-saving mode is activated, the
built-in oven switches to standby after ap-
prox. 10 minutes of inactivity.
The display disappears, but the time setting
remains.
