b) Setting up a Master Slave Chain

The effect light can be operated controlled by a DMX controller or in a master-slave chain. In that case, the integrated
controller of the master device controls the connected slave devices.
• Connect the DMX OUT (6) port of the master device to the DMX IN (2) port of the first slave device.
• Connect the DMX OUT (6) port of the first slave device to the DMX IN (2) port of the subsequent slave device.
• Proceed as described above with all remaining slave devices.
• Plug an XLR plug with a terminating resistor into the DMX OUT (6) port of the last slave device (as described in
section "Connection of a DMX Controller").

10. Mains Connection

The mains socket to which the effect light is connected must be close to the device and easily accessible
to quickly separate the device from the mains voltage in case of an error.
Ensure that the voltage indication on the effect light matches the mains voltage of your power supply.
Never try to operate the device with any other voltage.
Do not let the mains cable come into contact with other cables.
Be careful when handling mains cables and mains connections. Mains voltage may cause potentially fatal
electric shock.
Make sure that no cables lie around openly. Install cables professionally to prevent accidents.
Never overload the connection POWER OUT (4). Devices with a total power intake of up to max. 1 A
(230 V) or 2 A (110 V) can be connected here. Never connect any devices with a higher power intake here.
This would cause overload of the connection.
• Push the special plug of the mains line into the POWER IN (3) connection at the device and lock it by turning it
clockwise until it latches.
• Plug the mains plug of the mains line into a grounded socket.
• Once the device is connected to the mains, it is ready for operation.
• It is switched on and off with the ON/OFF (1) switch. The RUN (12) display lights up when the device is switched on.
• Other effect lights can also be connected to the mains via the POWER OUT (4) connection. For this, plug a
matching extension line (available in specialist stores) in the POWER OUT (4) connection and connect it to the
mains connection of the next device.
