• Neither open the radio-controlled clock with meteorological sta-
tion. In case of a malfunction failure, please send the defective
device to our service-center.
• Avoid exposure to extreme humidity (e.g. do not spray or sub-
merge in water), do not expose it to direct sunlight or excessive
influence of dust.
• Clean the radio-controlled clock with meteorological station and
the outside sensor using dry cotton cloth, which may can be
slightly moistened in case of heavy soiling. Do not use any clea-
ning agents containing solvents.
• Do not store or operate the devices within the reach of children.
The device is not a toy!

3. Putting into operation / replacement of batteries

3.1 radio-controlled clock with meteorological station

The battery compartment for two 1.5V miniature batteries (AA, LR6,
alkali type) is in the rear panel of the clock housing. Open the com-
partment and insert both batteries. Pay attention to the correct
polarity of the batteries. Close the battery compartment.
Insert the batteries into the outside sensor first (see following
instructions)!
As soon as you insert the batteries
• the time display shows zeros; the seconds begin immediately
counting,
• the date 1.01.2000 shows up,
• the display shows SA (German language setting) as the week-
day and 52 as calendar week.
• Thereafter following appears on the display: humidity, inside tem-
perature, atmospheric pressure, the weather forecast "cloudy"
(standard forecast).
• The analogue clock is set to 12:00.
• Thereafter the symbol
establishing radio reception both correct time and date, weekday
and calendar week are displayed and the symbol
ing.
• Then the radio-controlled clock with meteorological station con-
nects to the outside sensor and its address (standard setting "1")
starts blinking. As soon as this connection has been established,
current outside temperature is shown and the address "1"
remains displayed for approx. 15 minutes.
Settings:
Upon putting your radio-controlled clock with meteorological sta-
tion into operation, some values are pre-set:
• the language is German,
• atmospheric pressure is displayed in hPa, temperature in °C,
• volume of alarm and memo-signal is set to maximum,
• time zone is set to "0" (also the displayed time = the time of time-
signal transmitter)
• and the value of altitude is set to 300 m.
Battery-condition indicator:
As soon as the symbol
led clock with meteorological station shows up, you have to repla-
ce the batteries.
Attention: After removing the old batteries wait at least 1 minute
