Functions of the radio-controlled clock with meteorological station

Your radio-controlled clock with meteorological station consists of
• an analogue clock,
• a digital display (LCD) for all supplemental functions
• and radio temperature sensor AS 2000, providing your radio-
controlled clock with meteorological station with outside tempe-
rature data.
Once in an hour the time is compared with time of the signal trans-
mitter in Mainflingen nearby Frankfurt (Germany). This way the time
of your clock is being regularly synchronized. During this process
the symbol "radio tower" at the bottom left of your display is blink-
ing.
The prerequisite, however, is that the time zone is set to a maximum
of +1 / –1 hour.
Daylight saving and standard time are adjusted automatically.
Every 6 minutes the display shows current humidity, every 30 minu-
tes it shows atmospheric pressure. Besides, also the current inside
temperature is displayed every 6 minutes, the outside temperature
every 3 minutes. The weather forecast is updated three times a day.
Besides, your radio-controlled clock with meteorological station is
able to wake you up (alarm function) and remind you of two appo-
intments (memo function).
The radio temperature sensor AS 2000 supports recording of on-
site temperatures and transmission of collected data via radio to an
appropriate receiver, in this case your radio-controlled clock with
meteorological station. The sensor can be installed with high
degree of flexibility at different locations, such as outside, in the
greenhouse, in the basement, in the garage, in the storage room
etc., thus allowing a complex monitoring at variety of locations.
The sensor is a freely addressable, battery powered universal radio
temperature sensor with temperature range between –30.0°C to
+70°C.
Intended use
Prior to first use please read these operating instructions comple-
tely and carefully. They contain a variety of information on the inten-
ded use of the devices.
Your radio-controlled clock with meteorological station is intended
exclusively for use as radio-controlled clock with meteorological
station, the radio temperature sensor is intended exclusively for use
as a radio temperature sensor.
The outside sensor AS 2000 may be used also outside in an envi-
ronment with temperature range between –30°C and +70°C at
maximum humidity of 95%. Please strictly observe the instructions
regarding selection of installation place (see 4.2 Installation /
Removal of the outside sensor and 4.3 Range / Interference)!
The manufacturer is not liable for any damages resulting from
improper use. All warranty is void then.

2. Safety and maintenance instructions

• Do not open the radio temperature sensor unless you intend to
re-address it (see 4.1 Addressing the sensor). It does not contain
any components you need to maintain. In case of failure, please
