• Children younger than 8 years of age and animals must be kept
away from the device and the connecting cable!
• Use the device only as described in the instructions. Any other
use is deemed to be improper.
• The following are excluded from the warranty: all defects caused
by improper handling, damage or unauthorised attempts at re-
pair. This also applies to normal wear and tear.

Incorrect Use
• On no account should the device be used to suck up the fol-
lowing:
– Liquids or wet substances (e.g. wet carpet shampoo)
– Glowing ash, cigarettes, matches, etc.
– Infl ammable or explosive substances
– Very fi ne dust (e.g. concrete dust), ash or toner
– Pointed, hard objects such as large pieces of broken glass
Dangers of Injury
• Keep children and animals away from the packaging fi lm. There
is a danger of suffocation!
• Keep hair, jewellery, wide clothing, fi ngers and all other body
parts away from the nozzle of the device.
• Please take particular care when cleaning stairs so that you do
not stumble and fall.
• Make sure you wear closed shoes when using this device!
• Never hold the nozzle close to parts of your body or animals du-
ring use. They could become stuck to the device. Should the va-
cuum cleaner become stuck, switch the device off immediately.
• The device should be used and stored out of the reach of child-
ren and animals. Improper use can lead to injuries and electric
shock. The mains cable must also be kept out of the reach of
children and animals.
