Maintaining the spray nozzle and
nozzle holder
To reduce the risk of fluid injection or splas-
hing in the eyes or skin, do not hold a hand,
body or rag in front of the nozzle when clea-
ning or checking a clogged nozzle. Point the
gun toward the ground or into a waste con-
tainer when checking to see if the nozzle has
been cleared.
Do not wipe fluid buildup off the gun or spray
tip until the pressure has been relieved.

Daily cleaning

1. Relieve the pressure.
2. Regularly clean the front of the nozzle duri-
ng operation to reduce material buildup. Cle-
an the nozzle and nozzle holder at the end of
each working day. Use a solvent-soaked brush
to clean the spray nozzle.
If the nozzle clogs up while spraying
1. Stop spraying immediately.
2. Engage the gun trigger lock. Turn the reversible nozzle
backwards by 180°.
3. Disengage the trigger lock. Direct the gun into the pail
or onto the ground and pull the trigger to remove the blo-
ckage.
Original instruction
4. Engage the gun trigger lock. Turn the reversible nozzle
into spray position.
5. If the nozzle is still clogged up, engage the gun trigger
lock, switch off the sprayer, disconnect the power source
and open the pressure relief valve to relieve the pressure.
Flushing the gun
To reduce the risk of serious injury, including
splashing fluid in the eyes or on the skin or
static electric discharge when flushing:
Ensure the entire system, including flushing
pails, are properly earthed
Remove the nozzle holder and reversible noz-
zle
Maintain the metal-on-metal contact between
the spray gun and the flushing pails and work
with the lowest possible pressure level.
Repairs
To reduce the risk of serious injury from fluid
injections or splashing, always follow the pres-
sure relief procedure.
