8.DISPlAy AFTER A ChARGE PROCESS

The end of a charge- discharge procedure is shown with the message "END: XXXX". In
addition, one of the pre-set melodies will sound. All the important data of the completed
process will be displayed in a graphic and text form. Pressing the "ESC" button for at least
2 seconds, the warnings will be reset and the main menu shown again.

TExT DISPlAyS

The display shows the current settings. As well as showing the completed process in the
first line, the second line will show the reason for the cut-off as a flashing item. At the same
time and according to the programming and battery type, the following will be displayed
as flashing items.
• END: DELTA PEAK
• END: ZERO DELTA PEAK
• END: CC-CV COMPLETE
• END: TEMPERATURE
• END: MAX. CAPACITY
• END: NO DELTA-PEAK
• END: TIME LIMIT
• END: CAPACITY CUT-OFF TCS: xx%
• END: DISCHARGE CUT-OFF
(after a completed discharging operation)
In addition, all the important data of the completed process will be displayed. With NiCd-
and NiMH- batteries, the Power Peak ® Twin EQ-BID switches to a trickle charge after
completing the charge process. The screen switches between trickle (Trk.) and the trickle
charge current. With lithium batteries and following the display of "END:CC-CV comple-
te", the charging current will be made according to the CC-CV curve, see explanation of
CC-CV charge method on page 27.
NOTE:
As already mentioned, the display adjusts itself to the battery type and according to the
cut-off method defaults. Since not all displays can be shown, it is necessary to analyse
and interpret the shown text.
