 Bring the appliance to working position
- secure it, if required, with parking
brakes.
 Ensure that the filter basket has been
inserted properly.
 Open the knee lever for switching valve.
 Lift the safety pin for switching valve.
 Turn the switching valve to posi-
tion "Vacuum operation".
 Lock the safety pin for switching
valve.
 Tension the knee lever for switching
valve.
 Insert the suction hose into the suction
hose connection.
 Attach the desired accessories to the
suction hose.

Operation

 Insert the mains plug into the socket.
 Turn on the appliance.
The indicator lamp on the electri-
cal box flashes during the heat-
ing-up of the thermal probe for
filling level monitoring. Wait until the in-
dicator lamp turns off and the suction
turbines start.
 Vacuum liquid and chips.
Note:If the liquid container is filled, the suc-
tion turbine is switched off and the indicator
lamp on the electrical box is constantly on.
The filter basket and the liquid container
must be emptied prior to using the appli-
ance.
Empty the filter basket for solids
 Turn off the appliance.
 Open locks.
 Unlock the lock bolt on the hinge.
 Completely open the lid of the liquid
container.
 Let the stop bolts snap into place.

Start up

 Remove the filter basket and empty it.
 Reinsert the filter basket, unlock the
stop bolts and close the cover.
 Fasten closures and ensure proper
seating of the lid.
 Empty the liquid container.
 Dispose of the contents according to
the local provisions.
Note: A filled filter basket prolongs the
pressure emptying process. In order to
shorten the emptying time, empty the filter
basket first.
Empty the liquid container.
 Switch off the appliance and remove
the plug from the socket.
 Drive the appliance to the disposal site
for the liquid.
 Open the knee lever for switching valve.
 Lift the safety pin for switching valve.
 Turn the switching valve to posi-
tion "Empty".
 Lock the safety pin for switching
valve.
 Tension the knee lever for switching
valve.
 Insert the mains plug into the socket.
 Turn on the appliance.
 Route the drain hose to the disposal
unit and carefully open the drain valve.
 After emptying the liquid container,
close the valve on the drain hose and
switch the appliance off.
 Dispose of the contents according to
the local provisions.
