Important Information
Charge the battery in accordance with the procedure given in
these instructions. Do not use any other wall wart to charge
the battery.
Never connect the handset to the wall wart without batteries
or without the battery compartment cover.
Prevent the battery coming into contact with fire or water.
Do not disassemble, bend or destroy the batteries.
Do not short-circuit the batteries.
If battery fluid comes into contact with the eyes, the skin or
any other body part, immediately rinse the affected areas tho-
roughly with fresh water and seek medical attention.
Keep the batteries out of reach for children. Batteries are a
severe health risk if put into the mouth (poisonous heavy
metals).
Warning: Liquid that penetrates the casing can result in
a life-threatening electric shock or can damage or destroy
the device.
Only operate the device in closed, dry rooms.
Only clean the casing of the device with a slightly damp cloth
or an anti-static cloth.
When cleaning the casing, make sure that no liquid enters the
casing.
Warning: Damaged connection lines, or damage to the
casing or the device, can cause life-threatening electrical
shocks.
Never use a damaged device.
Contract a professional to complete any necessary repairs
without delay. Please contact your qualified electrician or the
manufacturer directly.
Warning: Power surges, which can occur during electri-
cal storms, can cause life-threatening electric shocks or
damage/destroy the device.
Do not connect or disconnect power cables during an electri-
cal storm.
Hire a qualified electrician to lay the cables within the building.
Warning: The handset creates a weak magnetic field,
which may attract small magnetic objects, such as need-
les and paper clips.
To avoid injuries, do not put down the handset close to such
objects.
