Once you have brought your telephone into operation, and confi-
gured it, check this section on operation and configuration for
additional useful information.

You can display different status information (battery charge level,
ringing tone volume, firmware, etc.).
Select Menu > Status.

Update

You can download current firmware files from the Internet.
You will find information about the update in the "Advanced Infor-
mation" manual.

Cleaning the Telephone

Warning: Any liquid that penetrates the casing can result
in a life-threatening electric shock or can damage or des-
troy the telephone.
Only clean the casing of the device with a damp cloth or an
anti-static cloth.
Caution: Cleaning agents may damage the surface.
Do not use caustic or solvent-containing cleaning agents.
You can clean the COMfortel M-310 with a disinfectant.
