2. Explanation of symbols

The lightning symbol inside of a triangle is used when there is a
potential risk of personal injury, such as electric shock.
An exclamation mark in a triangle indicates important instructions in
these operating instructions which absolutely have to be observed.
The arrow symbol is used when specific tips and information on the
operation are provided.

3. Intended use

Adjust and regulate the temperature of your living space according to your
needs with this room thermostat. It is operated via a control panel or the „Stat
blue" app (available for iOS and Android devices). Set up programs depending
on the time or daytime. Also integrated is a holiday mode which controls the
temperature during your absence. It is possible to control heating or cooling
systems directly.
The room thermostat is mounted on a wall. The load connected is turned on or
off (for max. connectable load, see "Technical data") depending on the tempera-
ture. Temperature is measured by an external sensor.
It is powered by two AA batteries.
The product is designed for indoor use only. Do not use in wet rooms or under
unfavourable ambient conditions. Unfavourable ambient conditions include:
- Wet conditions or high air humidity
- Dust and flammable gases, vapours or solvents
- Thunderstorms or similar conditions such as strong electrostatic fields
