�.2.5 Online ��S ��� licensing

A PC/Laptop with internet access is required for
online licensing.
1. Supply the KTS 340 with voltage by way of the
power supply unit provided.

The KTS 340 starts up.
2. Use the USB connecting cable to connect the
KTS 340 to a PC/Laptop.
3. Select the " Licensing >> Online" menu in the Start-
center.

The " Online" input box is opened.
4. Step 1: Enter customer number / password and select
<Login>.

The internet link for online licensing is estab-
lished.

If " Login" is not possible, check proxy settings under
"Settings >> User settings".
5. Step 2: Select contract Id and then <

The licence key is requested.

The request for the licence key can take several
seconds.

The USB link and the power supply to the KTS 340
must not be interrupted during transmission of the
licence key.
6. Select <
?
The licence key is transferred to the KTS 340.

If licensing is successful, the KTS 340 is re-
started.
