8. Setup and mounting

a) Setting up the projection radio alarm clock

• Set up the projection radio alarm clock on a horizontal, stable, sufficiently sized sur-
face.
Use a suitable support to avoid scratching.
• The distance from the outdoor sensor should not be too large either. Observe the
display (C5).
The projection alarm clock and the outdoor sensor should be set up or in-
stalled approx. 2 m away from possible interference sources.
Do not place the projection alarm clock next to any electronic devices, metal parts,
cables, etc., since this will reduce reception quality. This also applies to the subse-
quent DCF reception. Bad reception can also be expected in case of metallised insu-
lation glass windows, reinforced concrete construction, coated special wallpaper or
basement rooms.
b) Mounting the outdoor sensor
• The outdoor sensor can be put on the wall using the suspension hole (D2) in the rear
and hooks, nails or screws.
• Install the outdoor sensor in a weather-protected location without direct exposure to
the sun. Otherwise, the measurement may be inaccurate. Direct precipitation on the
outdoor sensor should also be avoided.
When drilling and screwing on, ensure that no cables or lines are damaged.
