d) Setting up and mounting
1. Set up the projection clock on a horizontal, stable surface with sufficient space.
A suitable mat should be used to prevent scratch marks on valuable furniture
surfaces.
The projection clock and external sensor must be set up at a distance of
about 2 m from sources of interference.
2. The external sensor can also be hung on a wall using the hanging slot (11) on
the rear side (e.g. with hooks, nails or screws). Attach the external sensor to a
weather-protected location away from direct sunlight.
Ensure that no cables or wires are damaged during drilling and screwing.
Choose the location in such a way that the external sensor is not in direct
sunlight, otherwise it could lead to errors in the measured values. Direct
precipitation on the external sensor should also be avoided.
e) Setting up a communication channel
1. After connecting the power supply of the projection clock, the projection clock
starts searching for the signal of the external sensor. The
received channel is displayed on the display. The sensor channel search can take
some time. Do not move the projection clock or external sensor during this time.
2. The
symbol goes out when the transmitter has been received. Press the TX
button (13) to manually send a signal to the projection clock if necessary. If the
transmission attempt of the external sensor fails, press the RESET button (14) to
reset the transmitter.
Set a communication channel for the transmitter using the slide switch (15).
The projection clock can receive data from a maximum of three external
sensors of the same type, with each of them transmitting on a different
channel [CH 1 CH 2 CH 3] to the same base station. Make sure that the slide
switch is set to a different channel number. Buy up to two extra sensors if
you wish to measure meteorological data at several locations.
3. Press the IN/CH button (9) to start a new receive attempt. The
All saved meteorological values are deleted. The projection clock automatically
searches for available external sensors on all three channels at 3 second intervals.
The values on the LCD of the projection clock are updated every 30 seconds
with the last measured values of an external sensor.
