c) Manually setting the time
• Push and hold the TIME SET (3) button for approx. 3 seconds. The indicator
RCC ON/OFF for the automatic radio signal scan starts to flash.
The clock will return to display mode if no button is pushed in 15 seconds
while in setting mode.
• Activate or deactivate the automatic radio signal scan with the buttons ▲ (4) or
▼ (5).
- ON: activated
- OFF: deactivated
• Press the TIME SET button to confirm the setting. The next value starts flashing.
• Follow the above steps to make settings in the following order: Automatic radio
signal scan > Time of day display format > Time zone > Hours > Minutes > Year >
Month > Day > Language > Temperature unit.
Press and hold the button ▲ or ▼ to fast-forward.
• Press the TIME SET button to save the settings and exit setup mode.
Information on time zone setting
If there is no radio signal reception, leave the setting at 00. If there is radio
signal reception but your local time differs from the automatically set time,
you can set the appropriate time difference (-12 to +12 hours). This time
difference will be considered when displaying the clock time.
The weekday can be displayed in the following languages:

d) Setting the alarm time
• Press the AL-SET (2) button.
• The indicator ALM-1 flashes at the left side of the digital display (10).
• Set alarm time 1 with the buttons ▲ (4) or ▼ (5) and then press the AL-SET button
to confirm.
• The indicator ALM-2 flashes at the right side of the digital display.
• Set alarm time 2 with the buttons ▲ or ▼ and then press the AL-SET button to
confirm.
e) Activating the alarm / snooze function
• Set the alarm time as described above.
• Set the switch AL-1 (6) / AL-2 (9) to position ON to activate the alarm. The indicator
and the alarm time appear on the digital display (10).
• When the alarm sounds, you can turn off the alarm using one of the following
methods:
- Press the SNOOZE/LIGHT button (1) to activate the snooze function. The alarm will
sound again after 4 minutes.
- Push any button to turn off the signal.
- The alarm turns off automatically after 2 minutes.
• To deactivate the alarm, set the switch AL-1 / AL-2 to position OFF.
The snooze function can be repeated up to 8 times. The indicator
while snooze is active.
f) Display the year
In normal display mode, briefly press the TIME SET (3) button. The year appears for
approx. 15 seconds at the left side of the digital display (10). Then the date indicator
appears again.
g) Backlight
Press the SNOOZE/LIGHT (1) button to activate the backlight for approx. 15 seconds.
h) Daylight saving time
The time will be adjusted automatically during summer. During summer, the DST icon
appears in the display.
i) Thermometer
If the temperature is outside the measurement range, the indicator LL.L (below the
minimum temperature) or HH.H (above the maximum temperature) appears.
j) Reset
Press the RESET button (8) using a pointed object to restore the factory settings.

Maintenance and cleaning

• The product is maintenance-free except for potential battery replacement and
occasional cleaning.
• Do not use any abrasive or chemical cleaners.
• Never submerge the product in water to clean it.
• To prevent scratch marks, do not apply too much force on the surface during
cleaning.
• Use a dry, clean, soft and lint-free cloth to clean the housing. To remove tougher
stains, slightly dampen the cloth with lukewarm water. You may use a little soap or
a mild cleaning agent.

Declaration of Conformity (DOC)

Disposal
a) Product
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the
household waste.
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the
relevant statutory regulations.
Remove any inserted (rechargeable) batteries and dispose of them
separately from the product.
b) (Rechargeable) batteries
You as the end user are required by law (Battery Ordinance) to return all used batteries/
rechargeable batteries. Disposing of them in the household waste is prohibited.
Contaminated (rechargeable) batteries are labelled with this symbol to
indicate that disposal in the domestic waste is forbidden. The designations
for the heavy metals involved are: Cd = Cadmium, Hg = Mercury, Pb = Lead
(name on (rechargeable) batteries, e.g. below the trash icon on the left).
Used (rechargeable) batteries can be returned to collection points in your
municipality, our stores or wherever (rechargeable) batteries are sold.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the
environment.
