Maintenance works on the tender
8. Dismantling the tender (Fig. 5)
Unscrew the screw (22) and remove the bogie (23).
Remove the housing cover (24) to the top and pull housing
(25) off the weight block (26).
9. Exchanging the circuit board (Fig. 5)
Dismantle the tender; see item 8. Pull off the dummy plug (27)
of the DC version, or the digital decoder (28) of the AC
version. Unscrew the fastening screws (29), remove the circuit
board (30) to the top. Separate plug-connection (31).
Mount the replacement circuit board in reverse order.
10. Exchanging the premium digital decoder of
the alternating current version (Fig. 5)
Dismantle the tender; see item 8. Pull off the premium digital
decoder (28) and plug in replacement.
11. Exchanging the bulb (Fig. 5)
Dismantle the tender; see item 8. Unsolder the bulb (32) from
the circuit board (30), solder a replacement bulb in place.
12. Maintenance work on the standard coupling
shaft (Fig. 5)
Dismantle tender; see item 8. Clip off standard shaft mounting
(33) and remove together with standard coupling shaft (34).
13. Retrofitting and reprogramming to digital
operation (Fig. 5)
Alternating current version
Engines of the alternating current version AC are supplied with
premium digital decoder (28) for analog operation as a
standard. If the engine is operated in digital mode, the
premium digital decoder has to be reprogrammed in
accordance with the enclosed operating instructions 'digital
decoder AnDI 75 320'.
Direct current version
Dismantle the tender; see page 10, item 8. Pull off the dummy
plug (27) and plug in the digital decoder. For the correct instal-
lation of the digital decoder, the direction in which to plug it in
and how to programme it, please refer to the mounting
instructions of the decoder manufacturer. Once the digital
decoder has been plugged in, it must be checked whether the
light is working. If the light does not function, turn the plug
by 180°.
Note:
Please note exactly where and how each individual part was
mounted. The mounting position is also indicated on the spart
parts graph on page 17.
