MD ALARM: Activate or deactivate buzzer when motion is detected.
I/O Alarm: Activate or deactivate buzzer when a sensor is triggered.
HDD LOSS: Activate or deactivate buzzer when no hard disk is attached or if it is not recognised.
HDD SPACE: Activate or deactivate the buzzer when full hard disk capacity if reached if the over-
write function is deactivated.
VIDEO LOSS: Activate or deactivate the buzzer when no video signal is present.
EMAIL: Here, you can check if you want to have an EMAIL with an image triggered when motion is
detected or when a sensor is triggered.
FULL SCREEN: Check this to switch to full screen mode automatically if a motion is detected or
a sensor is triggered.
ALARM TIME: Recording time after a motion was detected
EMAIL SETUP:
Observe that not every email server is compatible with the email alarm function.
The prerequisite for the email alarm function is that the digital recorder has a
proper internet connection.
In the following alarm cases, an EMAIL is sent:
Alarm type
Video signal loss
Motion detection
I/O Status
HDD loss
In chapter "5.2.6.2 Alarm Set/Email Alarm Notifi cation", the included English oper-
ating instructions have an example confi guration using a GMAIL account.
You can fi nd an email server checklist in the included English operating instruc-
tions in the chapter "8.2 Email Server Check List".
Function
An alarm is present when the video signal is not recognised (e.g.
camera defect, video line defect or malfunction of the camera
voltage supply).
When the digital recorder recognises motion in the determined
motion detection area, an alarm is triggered.
A connected sensor is not triggered.
The inserted hard disk is not recognised anymore (e.g. hard disk de-
fect, problem with hard disk voltage supply) or the auto overwrite
function is deactivated and there is not enough hard disk capacity
available.
