b) Damage to this bike, caused by:
• inappropriate use, in particular for any
other than the intended purpose, or
use in disregard of the Mercedes-Benz
owner's manual;
• inappropriate repairs;
• accidents or other incident beyond the
control of Mercedes-Benz;
• a system with which the bike was held
in storage or transported.
Wear on components
Chain, sprockets, chain wheel, gears,
suspension forks, brakes, tyres and
derailleur are all subject to wear.
Regular cleaning and lubrication can inde-
ed prolong the life of components, howe-
ver a replacement will become necessary
when the safety limits of component wear
are reached. The amount of wear depends
on the care and maintenance accorded to
your bike and on certain conditions of use
(total distance, cycling in rain, dirt, salt
etc.)
It cannot be emphasised strongly enough
that the continued use of worn or dama-
ged components or assemblies is extre-
mely dangerous and may lead to serious
accidents and injury to yourself and
others.
Further, the continued use of worn or
damaged components or assemblies may
cause damage to other parts of your bike.
If you have any questions relating to the
assembly, adjustment, maintenance and
operation of your bike, please consult a
qualified professional bicycle workshop.
Mercedes-Benz recommends that you
consult an approved Mercedes-Benz
dealer.
