Potential accident risk
For reasons of safety, you should never
attempt any repairs over and above those
described in this manual. Unprofessional
work on safety-relevant parts, such as
headset, braking system and suspension, ex-
poses you and other road users to potential
danger.
In the case of a malfunction, you could
lose control of your bike leading to a fall or
accident in which you and/or other persons
may be injured.
Note
We recommend an initial inspection of your
bike after the first 500 km.
Check your bike at regular intervals.
Please pay particular attention to the
following components:
• Headset bearing
• Suspension forks
• Bottom bracket
• Pedals
• Tyres
• Wheels
• Chain
• Brakes.
Maintenance and repairs
We recommend an annual inspection
of your bike in a qualified professio-
nal bicycle repair shop.
