B) Switching The Indoor Unit On/Off - Renkforce 1373174 Bedienungsanleitung

If no camera image is displayed on the indoor unit after several login attempts, observe
the following notes:
• Check if the indoor and outdoor unit are ready (voltage/power supply).
Operate the outdoor unit during logon using the mains adapter, and not only the
rechargeable battery.
Operate the indoor unit via its mains adapter or charge the rechargeable battery.
• Keep a distance of 0.5 - 1 m between the indoor and outdoor units during logon.
• The logon mode at the indoor unit is only active for approx. 5 - 6 seconds and is then
deactivated again for reasons of safety.
After the logon mode has been started at the indoor unit, the middle of the display shows
the corresponding graphical display. Then push the doorbell button at the outdoor unit
1x briefly (push the doorbell button briefly and let go again!) to switch it on. Then keep
the doorbell button pushed for at least 3 seconds.
• Check if the aerial at the rear of the outdoor unit is properly screwed on. The same
applies if you have inserted an SMA extension cable between the aerial socket of the
outdoor unit and the aerial.

b) Switching the Indoor Unit On/Off

The indoor unit can be switched on (switch position "ON") or off ("OFF") via the on/off switch
(18). You can switch off the indoor unit when you do not want to be disturbed (e.g. at night).
When switched off, the indoor unit will not work; it will not react to the doorbell
signal of the outdoor unit or pushing of the operating buttons.
Observe that the rechargeable battery in the indoor unit cannot be charged
when the indoor unit is off.
