The outdoor unit cannot be activated from the indoor unit
• This function is not available if the outdoor unit is operated by rechargeable battery.
Use the enclosed mains adapter for voltage/power supply.
Low range
• Check the screw connection of the aerial at the rear of the outdoor unit.
• Use a suitable SMA extension cable (not enclosed) and install the aerial elsewhere
(e.g. in the house). The aerial should be placed as vertically as possible.
Name tag lighting does not work
• The lighting is switched off at sufficient ambient brightness. A brightness sensor (27)
activates the lighting automatically in twilight and at night.
Loud whistling sounds
• If the indoor and outdoor units are too close together, there will be a feedback loop.
Keep enough distance between the two units.
• For test purposes, you can cover the apertures of the microphones of the indoor and
outdoor units with a stripe of thick adhesive tape to avoid feedback sounds.
