b) Outdoor Unit

When installing the outdoor unit, ensure that the brightness sensor (27) at the
bottom is exposed and not covered.
The brightness sensor activates the installed IR-LEDs (the IR light is not visible
to the human eye) automatically in low ambient brightness.
Connection and installation are only permitted in the powered-down condition.
Proceed as follows:
• Take off the weather protection frame from the outdoor unit. It is only pushed on at
delivery.
• Install the weather protection frame on the wall with 3 suitable screws and poss.

Apply suitable sealing where the cable comes out of the wall, so that water
running down the wall (e.g. rain) cannot run into the wall along the cable. Use
a little silicone for sealing.
The enclosed metal bracket must be screwed on as well at the lower aperture. The
short end points forward here. This is where the outdoor unit with the small M3 screw
is attached later.
When drilling or tightening screws, ensure that no wires or lines are damaged!
