• Insert one of the two enclosed LiIon rechargeable batteries into the rechargeable battery
compartment in the proper polarity (plus/+ and minus/- is indicated in rechargeable
battery compartment and on the rechargeable battery), and close the rechargeable
battery compartment again.
• Connect the mini USB plug of the enclosed mains adapter to the corresponding socket
(17) on the right side of the indoor unit. Then plug the mains adapter into a proper mains
socket.
• Switch on the indoor unit via the on/off switch (18) (switch position "ON").

d) Labelling the Name Tag of the Outdoor Unit

• Push the transparent cover (25) on the left side inward by approx. 2 mm. Hold it in this
position and push the cover to the left by approx. 3 mm then. Now take out the cover.
• Label the name tag on the rear with permanent marker; alternatively, you can make
your own tag (approx. 58 x 14 mm) with a laser printer.
The paper should not be too thick (do not use cardboard!), to permit lighting of
the name tag.
• Insert the name tag into the cover and insert it into the outdoor unit in the reverse
order.
