Problem
You cannot
unscrew the threa-
ded sleeve.
Water accumu-
lates under the
motor base or runs
down on the exte-
rior of the blender
jug.
Reason
IMPORTANT:
Always ensure to turn the threaded sleeve
counter-clockwise for disassembling
The threaded slee-
ve may be screwed
on very tightly.
WARNING: Immediately unplug the appliance. Wipe dry
the appliance completely, before using the appliance again.
Always ensure that liquids cannot get into the ventilation
slits at the bottom of the motor base.
There is too much
food in the blender
jug.
You spilled some
liquid when filling
or moving the blen-
der jug.
The lid and/or
measuring cup
is missing or not
assembled cor-
rectly.
The seal at the rim
of the lid is dama-
ged.
The blender jug is
leaking.
The Solution
.
Lay your hand on the glass body with
the handle at the back of your hand.
Turn the threaded sleeve with the other
hand. Alternatively, hold the glass body
with both hands, while a second person
turns the threaded sleeve to unscrew it.
Always observe the maximum fil-
ling level of 800 ml. With vigorously
frothing food, you should fill in some-
what smaller amounts.
Avoid spilling any liquids on the exte-
rior of the blender jug during filling.
Always ensure to hold the blender jug
level when it is filled. Ensure that the
exterior of the blender jug is clean and
dry, when placing the blender jug onto
the motor base.
For operation the rim of the lid must lie
completely on the rim of the blender
jug. The measuring cup must be locked
in the centre of the lid. If required,
press down the lid somewhat firmer to
seal the blender jug tightly.
Replace the lid. Get in contact with
your vendor for original spare parts.
Check the blender jug for leakage. Do
not use the appliance with the blender
jug leaking (see above).
