Using the bit adaptor
NOTE
If you want to use the bit

adaptor
you must first remove

the chuck
(see "Removing/

installing the chuck").
Insert a suitable screw bit into the bit
o
adaptor
as far as it will go. The
[
]
screw bit is held in place by a magnet
at the bottom of the bit adaptor.
To remove the screw bit, pull it out of

the bit adaptor

Trial run
NOTE
Always carry out a no-load trial
u
run before starting work and after
every accessory tool replacement.
Switch the product off immediately
if the accessory tool is not running
smoothly, if considerable vibration
occurs or if you hear abnormal
noises.
Before operating the product,

check whether the accessory tool is
correctly positioned, i.e. centred in
the chuck
.

Screw bits are labelled according to

their dimensions and their shape.
If you are uncertain, always check
whether the bit fits tightly in the screw
head without any free play.
