Procedure (Fig. D)
1. Switch off the device and remove the
battery. Make sure that all moving parts
have come to a complete stop.
2. Remove the splinter guard (25).
3. Loosen the hexagon socket screws (11)
with the hex key (27).
4. Pull the footplate (12) backwards slightly.
5. Adjust the footplate (12) to the desired
position.
6. Press the footplate (12) forwards into one
of the notches.
7. Tighten the hexagon socket screws (11)
with the hex key (27).
External dust extraction
Requirements
• The protective cover (21) is fitted.
Connecting external dust extraction
1. Disable the dust blower function (10).
2. Connect a suitable dust extraction (not
included) to the suction nozzle (6).
3. If the external dust extraction does not fit,
use the additional reducer piece (7).
Removing external dust extraction
1. Remove the dust extraction from the suc-
tion nozzle (6) or reducer piece (7).
2. Remove the reducer piece (7).

1. Press the two holders on the protective
cover (21) into the recesses on the tool
housing.
The protective cover clicks into place.
You can fold the fitted protective cover up by
65°.

1. Carefully press the two holders on the
protective cover (21) apart.

Checking the battery charge level

level indicator button (30) on the battery
(4).
The LEDs of the charge level indicator
show how much charge remains in the
battery.
2. Charge the battery (4) when only the red
LED on the charge level indicator (30) is
illuminated.

• If warm, allow the battery to cool before
charging.
• Do not expose the battery to direct sun-
light for long periods and do not place it
on a radiator (max. 50°C).
Charging the battery
1. Remove the battery (4) from the device.
2. Push the battery (4) into the charging slot
of the battery charger (29).
3. Connect the battery charger (29) to a
power outlet.
4. After charging, disconnect the battery
charger (29) from the mains.
5. Pull the battery (4) out of the battery
charger (29).
