Fitting the splinter guard

The splinter guard can prevent the surface from
tearing up when sawing wood. The splinter guard
can only be used with certain sawblade types
and only at a cutting angle of 0°.
♦ Press the splinter guard
from below (arrow pointing upwards).
The ▲ marking on the splinter guard
towards the front of the appliance (see also fig. 1).

Fitting the sliding shoe

When working on sensitive surfaces, you can fit the
sliding shoe onto the baseplate

♦ Mount the sliding shoe

Operation

Setting the cutting angle

♦ Use your thumbs to press on the position marked
in fig. 2 to release the extraction nozzle
