Pairing of RSE-T and RSE-R
1.
Briefly actuate the button on the RSE-R module so that a
short beep is emitted.
2.
Press the button in the door connection box of the RSE-T
module.

The RSE-R emits a long beep sound for confirmation.
3.
Then briefly actuate the button on the RSE-R module to
complete the pairing process.
Unpairing of RSE-T and RSE-R
Impact and crush hazard due to the door

By unpairing the RSE-T and RSE-R, the safety
sensors are inoperative.

Repair the RSE-T and RSE-R again or
make sure that the RSE system is replaced
by a coiled cable.

button pressed for 5 seconds.

The RSE-R emits several rapid beep sounds.

The drive confirms pairing by the decimal point flashing
for 5 times.
Menu 6 Radio settings
Programming the hand-held radio transmitter
Please observe that every hand-held transmitter must be pro-
grammed individually. You are provided with the possibility of pro-
gramming 30 radio channels.
The following encryption types can be programmed: KeeLoq,
12 Bit, Multibit. The first code programmed determines the en-
cryption type. KeeLoqClassic and KeeLoqAES can be used in
parallel. A start command of a KeeLoq hand-held transmitter is
only accepted in the mode in which it has previously been pro-
grammed.
Start pulse (menu item 60)
1.
Select "Program hand-held transmitter start button" in menu
item 60.
2.
Actuate the button of the hand-held transmitter for opening
the door.

When the code has been programmed, the dot display
on the LED display blinks 5 times.
3.
Go to Exit to complete the setting process.
½ door opening (menu item 61)
1.
Select "Program hand-held transmitter 1/2 button" in menu
item 61.
2.
Actuate the button of the hand-held transmitter for the
½ door opening.
ð
When the code has been programmed, the dot display
on the display blinks 5 times.
3.
Go to Exit to complete the setting process.
Light function (menu item 62)
Select menu item 62 and actuate the light function button of the
hand-held transmitter. When the code has been programmed, the
dot display on the display blinks 5 times.
Deleting radio codes (menu item 63)
To delete all codes programmed, proceed as follows:

Select menu item 63.

the display blinks 5 times.
Selecting the hand-held transmitter operating mode (menu
item 64)
In menu item 64 you can temporarily disable the taught-in hand-
held transmitters and select the desired operating mode for the
start button.

Settings for door operation (menu item 70-79)
The associated parameters such as maximum motor speed and
the optimum door operation profile are saved for each motor type.
Do not modify default settings
NOTICE
Adjusting the default settings is not required and
may cause faults.
Crush hazard and risk of being struck by the
CAUTION
closing door if approach area monitoring is
insufficient!
If the closing speed exceeds 50 cm/s, the move-
ment area on both sides of the door needs be
monitored over the entire door width and to a
depth of 90 cm.

Select the correct brake type before commission-
ing.
Incorrect adjustment of the brake type can cause
the door to fall.
Adjust the motor brake according to the type of motor installed
and as follows:

Brake type A, brake operating without power supply
– (Value 0) Brake is applied simultaneously when starting
the motor.
– (Value 1-9) Applying the brake is delayed after starting
the motor.
•
Brake type B, brake opening without power supply
– (Value 10) Brake is opened simultaneously when starting
the motor.
– (Value 11-19) Opening the brake is delayed after starting
the motor.

Select the drive in accordance with the specifications given in the
Program overview chapter in menu item 79.

The control unit may only be operated with a
drive contained in the program overview. The
use of external drives can result in damages of
drive, control unit or door.
Test run
When programming has been completed, carry out a test run by
executing all operating functions. When all operating functions
have been executed correctly, the connected door system is
ready for operation.
