OPERATION
After connecting the device to the mains it is ready for operation. The operating modes can be selected by
means of the DIP switches. The device can be operated in stand-alone mode via the FLASH RATE and
INTENSITY controls or in DMX-controlled mode via any commercial DMX controller.
Operation without DMX Controller
When operating the device without a DMX controller you can adjust the flash frequency and the dimming
level with the controls FLASH RATE and INTENSITY respectively. Set DIP switch 10 to the lower position
(ON) to enable stand-alone mode.

DMX operation
To control the device via a lighting controller with DMX512 protocol, the device is equipped with two DMX
control channels. Several units can be interconnected.
Adjusting the DMX operating mode and start address
To the control the device from a DMX lighting controller, adjust the DMX start address for its first DMX
channel. The start address is adjusted as a binary number via the DIP switches.

Set DIP switch 10 to the upper position (OFF).

Note: Please make sure that you do not have any overlapping channels in order to control each device
correctly and independently from any other fixture on the DMX chain. If several devices are addressed
similarly, they will work synchronically.
