Dispose of batteries in an envir-

Do not throw batteries into
domestic waste, fire (risk of
explosion) or water. Dam-
aged batteries can harm the
environment and your health
if poisonous fumes or liquids
escape.
You are obliged to dispose of defect-
ive or used batteries in an environ-
mentally friendly manner.
• Do not open the batteries and
avoid mechanical damage. There
is a risk of a short circuit and va-
pours may leak out, causing irrita-
tion to the respiratory tract.
• For safety reasons, batteries
should be discharged before dis-
posal.

Handle externally damaged bat-

• If you cannot tape the poles,
place the batteries individually
in a plastic bag.
• Place damaged batteries indi-
vidually in a non-flammable,
sealable container that can
still be filled with sand.
• Take damaged batteries to a
collection point with special-
ised personnel.
