tion is made with the correct point position according to
the selected measuring range. Overflow indication by
"I" in the first position. The display field contains 4
LEDs for indication of the Q/kQ/gS/mS
the individual modes as well as 1 LED for indication of a
polarization voltage (2V DC) during capacitance measu-
rement.

Selection of the "series resistance"
This mode permits to determine the series resistance of
inductor coils. The reading is in Q or kQ according to the
selected measurement range. It is possible to perform
measurements between I O mQ and 200 kQ.

Input for connection of the HZ 18 four-wire test cable.
@ L (pushbutton)
Selection of the " Inductance
This mode permits to measure inductance values bet-
ween 0.1 and 200H. The reading is in PH/mH/H
according to the range selected with @.
@ Probe Compensation
Trimmer to be adjusted with a screwdriver for compen-
sation of the cable capacitance when using the HZ18
cable.

Selection of the "Parallel conductance"
This mode permits to measure the parallel conductance
of capacitors. The reading is in gS or mS according to the
range selected with@. It is possible to perform measu-
rements between O.I gS and 200mS,
@ Display Zero (Rtrimmer)
Trimmer to be adjusted with a screwdriver for zero cor-
rection of the display.
0 2V DC (pushbutton)
Connection of a 2V DC voltage to the connecting termi-
nals@/@. This procedure is recommended for measu-
rement of poled capacitors to avoid pole reversal of the
capacitor by the AC test voltage. The activation of this
mode is displayed by the "DC" LED.
