The LC meter HM8018 is provided with many features
seldom found in an instrument of this price range. The
measured values are indicated on a 3 1/2 digit display with
a basic accuracy of 0.5%. Owing to the three oscillator
frequencies, which automatically come into operation
and
during range selection, the instrument always operates at
the optimum practical test frequency.
Apart from L and C measurements,
components of inductances and capacitances can also be
determinated with the HM8018, thereby providing easy
evaluation of the quality or dissipation factors of the mea-
sured components. A special measurement principle is
provided for high resolution of 10mQ or 0.01 gS and con-
sequently optimum evaluation of test results.
Due to its accuracy and ease-of-operation, the HM 8018 is
predestined for use in virtually all fields of electronics and
electrotechnics
laboratory applications. The low number of operating con-
trols ensures that even non-technical
form precise measurements after brief instruction.
