How to store food and beverages for best
preservation over the longest period, in
order to avoid food waste?

Fridge compartment

• Use containers made from recycled plastic,
metal, aluminum and glass as well as plastic
wrap to pack food.
• Liquids as well as foods that lead to odor
formation or can easily spoil or that can
transfer taste, should be covered.
• If only a small amount of food is to be
stored, the use of the shelves above
the fruit and vegetable compartment is
recommended.
