General aspects – Comline DOC skimmer
The model series of the Comline DOC skimmers
has been developed especially for an effective
and modern protein skimming process in marine
biotopes from 200 to 2,100 litres (52 to 554 USgal.).
The units stand out for their compact dimensions,
but at the same time they have a large foam cup
capacity and offer a very high performance on
account of their air volume and water throughput.
Easily and inconspicuously they can be placed
directly in the aquarium at an immersion depth of
240 to 290 mm (9.4 to 11.4 in.) using a magnet
holder. The inlet of aquarium water can be set to
between 5 per cent and 90 per cent.
They can also be used in aquarium cabinets with
variable levels from 100 to 280 mm (3.9 to 11 in.). In
this mode, the accessories are used to generate a
constant internal water level; in this case the water
circulates with an inlet of 100 percent of aquarium
water. The cartridge core on the outlet pipe ensures
bubble-free outgoing water.
Every cleaning of the skimmer cup leads to the
reactor being cleaned at the same time, and thus
a very constant and efficient foam production is
ensured.

développés
intensif et moderne de biotopes marins de 200 à
2.100 litres. Ils se caractérisent par des dimensions
compactes et par un grand volume du godet de
réception, leurs débits d'air et d'eau importants
assurent une grande puissance d'écumage.
Les écumeurs Comline DOC Skimmer se placent
directement dans l'aquarium à une profondeur
d'immersion de 240 à 290mm avec Magnet Holder.
Le débit de passage d'eau à traitée est variable de
5 à 90%.
Ils se placent aussi aisément dans des filtrations
sous aquarium avec une hauteur d'eau variable
de 100 à 280mm. Pour cela, ils nécessitent le
montage d'accessoires spécialement fournis et
assurant un niveau d'eau interne constant. Dans ce
cas toujours, le débit de passage d'eau à traitée est
de 100%, la mousse filtrante en sortie permet une
évacuation de l'eau sans micro-bulles.
Le nettoyage du godet implique aussi un nettoyage
du réacteur interne, garantissant ainsi un écumage
efficace et parfaitement constant.
